Why I hate the tenth

Today is his birthday. both of them. Both Johns. Gee, I wonder why my life is so messed up. All the guys I am involved with have pretty much the same names (two Jon/Johns, two Ben/Bennett, and the out-liar Kyle) and Jon & John have the same birthday, and Kyle has a birthday one day after, May 10 and 11.

I always knew that life works like a cycle, but this is ridiculous.

I hate May 10th.

It's funny how a name can change meaning to you over time. Like how John can go from a pesky next door neighbor, to a good friend who then turns enemy, to a boyfriend who breaks your heart, to a mentor, and it returns back to a pseudo-boyfriend. That makes sense, since John is a common name. But what about those less common names, like Kyle and David, that are common enough to occur more than once during a lifetime but are still rare enough to leave an impression. The Kyle that I might have talked about a year ago was an on and off boyfriend, who repulsed me to the core. The Kyle I talk about now is, the same age as the previous kyle, but is an actor, smart and funny. Weird how that can happen.

We're now in an Obama-Nation.

Yes there is a pun in that. I do support him. I just really wanted to make that pun.

I'm a kitty!

My mission in life is to learn how to say "I am a cat" in every single language. I know, very very weird. I'm crazy.

Who wants to help me?

English: I am a cat
German: Ich bin eine Katze
Spanish: Soy un gato

That's it.

The Writer's To-Do List

V for Vendetta
So, I have limited my projects for writing. I have decided that it is foolish to forget the past, we need to learn from it. Ergo I am not totally abandoning all of my old projects like I kinda decided to do in my completely crazy state of mind.

That brings this list of things I have to do:

  • Clairvoyance

  • Mute

  • Hamlet- The Final Act

  • Cassandra

That's not too long. No it's not. Mute and Clairvoyance aren't supposed to be more than 50 000 words since they're novellas. Most likely 20-40 000 knowing me. The Cassandra story is, in my mind a novella, but is more likely to be between 5- 15 000 there by being on the cusp of a novella and a short story. Hamlet is the only novel length one.

Not too hard. less than 200 000 words for me to write. Not too hard at all.
